I must admit a measure of pride in the book written by my wife, Candace Richmond. She is a former registered nurse and also has a Bachelor of Science, but more importantly she is the mother of our three fine boys. She has always been interested in health, and living a healthy life is a kind of passion for her long before Green was in vogue.
I highly recommend her new project called, Naturally Green Clean, which can be found at her website www.NaturallyGreenClean.org. Researching Green cleaning products is a huge task. There is much misinformation, and it is scattered throughout the Internet and various books. Getting the list down to the twelve crucial ingredients that are the heart of the Green HomeMaker's toolchest is no small task.
The genius of this course is that it has made a complex study extremely simple. The reader is given clear and easy-to-follow guidance in setting up a Green home using the twelve ingredients that area easily found locally. It saves money and time, but more importantly, the Green HomeMaker has the assurance that he or she is protecting the health of their family.
This is a downloaded book of about 90 pages that is packed with excellent information that allows anyone to take there home to the Green standard. In fact, there is an included exam of 25 questions that the reader may submit to Green Clean Institute to earn their Green HomeMaker certification.
We are all stuck on the advertising hype of product manufactures that proclaim that they have concocted the latest and best cleaning product in history. What we do not realize is that the chemicals they add to the mixture have health and environmental consequences. Even the ones claiming to be Green, Eco Friendly, or Earth Safe are unregulated words that may only mean that they have reduced the dangerous chemicals or switched to chemicals with less know side affects. What can you do?
It may be a throwback to simpler times, but our ancestors were not fools. They knew how to take care of their families too. Obviously, there have been some innovations in natural cleaning programs as well, but you must simply read the book and see for yourself. Naturally Green Clean is a veritible classic study in how to really clean your home, protect the health of your family, and actually save money. It is worth the time it takes to read it, and it will likely become your resource book for years to come.
